Clay Cargo 2014 Collection, is an exhibition project designed for Clay- ground Collective which combines public art, participation and research.

The publication made to complement the project includes a collection of poems, art works and essays about clay, canals and waterways. Inspired by Josiah Wedgwood, the English potter and ceramic industrialist from the eighteenth century, known as one of the pioneering investors of the London canal system.

Clay Cargo 2014 Collection book interlinks works made from Stoke-on- Trent to London via Birmingham, in a series of commissions, interventions and public workshops on boats and canal-side locations. The book was first launched during an accompanying exhibition at Pancras Square Library in 2014.
